Duties Serve as point of contact for potential clients seeking legal assistance Engage with clients via phone or email to gather essential information regarding their legal inquiries Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics Demonstrate empathy to clients and put them at ease during potentially difficult times Provide detailed written summaries about potential clients' needs to attorneys Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants and administrative staff to ensure prompt assignment of clients and scheduling of initial client meetings Cover reception desk when needed, answering a multi-line telephone and directing in-coming calls accurately Offer administrative assistance to other support staff as needed Skills Familiarity with legal administrative procedures and legal terminology; prior experience or education in the legal field preferred Clear, and concise written and verbal communication with attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently Meticulous attention to detail when documenting client information Uphold strict confidentiality standards regarding client information and file details Ability to collaborate with attorneys and support staff

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
