POSITION SUMMARY
Supports prosecutors and County Detectives in the management and presentation of digital evidence for use at trial and other proceedings. Coordinates with County IT to plan and implement new electronic information system products for use in the District Attorney's Office. Works with local law enforcement agencies to ensure timely and complete delivery of digital evidence to the District Attorney's Office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist prosecutors and County Detectives with production and presentation of digital evidence in trials and hearings. Assists in the production of PowerPoint presentations and other digital media for education and community outreach. Serves as point of contact between County IT Department and the District Attorney's Office to troubleshoot problems. Assists in compilation of statistics for use by the District Attorney, the Office's Executive Committee, Unit Chiefs, and key stakeholders. Responsibility for assuring proper documentation of all new, incoming computer processes. Recruit and select support staff.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Excellent knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel and PowerPoint. Must have the ability to quickly learn new computer systems as needed. Demonstrates the ability to collaborate and work well with internal staff and external stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills. Effective time management skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple tasks. Ability to work in a team environment in both a lead and support role.
