Job Description
Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Work involves preparing reports, forms, and documents; maintaining files, may train other administrative support staff to perform related activities. Ensures the expeditious submission of pharmacy claims. Verifies medication invoices to ensure accuracy of medication expenditures. Work involves verifying authorizations for service via CHIP and Managed Care Plans; preparing reports, forms, and documents; maintaining files; completing data entry; conducting phone calls with insurance agencies as well as clients. Ensures the expeditious submission of pre-authorization requests. May train other administrative support staff to perform related activities. Performs related work as assigned. Works under the direct supervision of the Primary Care Manager.
