Our firm has over years of combined litigation and civil trial courtroom experience. We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Intake Specialist to join our dynamic team in our Houston location. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for managing the initial intake process for new cases as well as ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Duties:
  • Conduct initial intake from insurance adjusters to gather necessary information
  • Enter client data into the case management system (Clio Manage) accurately
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files
  • Assist with transcribing legal documents and correspondence
  • Perform legal research as needed
  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy
  • Provide administrative support to legal staff as required
  • eFile documents as needed
  • Support legal case management activities
Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and processes
  • Familiarity with legal research methods
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus (Clio Manage, Clio Draft)
