A Legal Support Specialist works for a law firm, government, or a company subject to litigation, such as an insurance company. May assist with inmate processing and porale coordination. May assist with preparing and prosecuting cases, as part of a legal team or under the direction of a litigation attorney. May collect evidence, reviews files and assist with other litigation work.
The Job We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Case Manager to join our team. This role serves as the primary liaison between our attorneys and infringers. We represent photographers whose work (images) have been used without proper authorization. Our firm represents photographers, helping protect their copyrighted work and ensuring they receive fair compensation. Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate client eligibility for damages related to copyright infringement claims Communicate with clients, vendors, attorneys, and infringers through phone, email, and other communication channels Provide the infringer an opportunity to resolve claims outside of court Provide resolution options to infringers on how to amicably resolve their claims Coordinate with supervising attorneys regarding legal arguments Request and collect documentation related to damages, licensing, copyright management information, and other supporting evidence Maintain accurate case records and provide timely case updates to clients and vendors Manage incoming calls, emails, and voicemails efficiently Assist with improving internal processes to increase efficiency and quality within the pre-litigation process Adapt to changing priorities and support additional case-related tasks as needed
