A Seattle-based legal administration company is seeking Temporary Legal Administrative Assistants (5292) to support a large-scale legal administration project. This is a full-time, onsite temporary opportunity expected to last approximately six months. This role combines legal administrative support with significant communication with class members and claimants. The work requires more than following a script—successful candidates will need to review information from multiple sources, understand the context of an inquiry, identify the relevant issue, and communicate an accurate and professional response. Responsibilities Communicate with class members and claimants through inbound calls, outbound calls, and email Review settlement-related information, records, instructions, and other resources to research and respond to inquiries Interpret information from multiple sources to determine appropriate next steps or responses Explain processes, requirements, deadlines, and available options clearly and professionally Follow established procedures, court-ordered requirements, settlement terms, and project guidelines Troubleshoot questions that may not have a straightforward or fully scripted answer Draft clear, accurate, and professional email correspondence Document communications and maintain accurate records within internal systems Utilize reference materials, FAQs, scripts, and other resources to independently locate information Maintain professionalism when communicating with individuals who may be frustrated or dissatisfied Receive and incorporate feedback and coaching as project needs and procedures evolve Assist with additional project and legal administrative responsibilities as needed Qualifications Prior legal, claims, or other relevant professional administrative experience preferred Civil litigation, claims administration, insurance claims, or similar experience is particularly helpful Strong critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills Ability to understand and apply detailed procedures, deadlines, and written instructions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable handling a high volume of phone and email communication Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to independently research answers using provided resources rather than relying solely on scripted responses Professional and confident when delivering information that may not be the answer an individual is hoping to receive Adaptable, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where responsibilities may shift based on project needs Schedule & Assignment Full-time temporary assignment Approximately six months Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Onsite in downtown Seattle $26/hour This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys substantive, detail-oriented work that combines legal context, problem-solving, and direct communication.
