Job Description

Claims Administrative Assistant Extension is seeking a Claims Administrative Assistant for an ongoing contract with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI . About Our Client Established Milwaukee organization providing essential services to the local community. Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities Set up and maintain claim files, legal records, databases, spreadsheets, and electronic/physical filing systems. Process incoming mail, faxes, emails, public records requests, and other documentation while ensuring timely and accurate follow-up. Assist with claims and litigation support, including researching case information, organizing evidence, preparing correspondence, and maintaining litigation dockets. Obtain and organize medical records, investigative materials, video footage, and other claim-related documentation while maintaining confidentiality. Support reporting, records retention, subrogation activities, committee meetings, training materials, and other administrative projects as needed. Desired Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of administrative, clerical, customer service, legal, insurance, workers' compensation, or related experience. High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to quickly learn new databases and systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organize large amounts of information, prioritize competing deadlines, and work independently. Strong judgment, problem-solving, and data-entry skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally and work effectively with diverse internal and external contacts. Experience with claims, legal offices, public records, or video/document management is a plus.
