In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, including CCTV and security alarms, to ensure the safety and integrity of our facilities. Your keen eye and quick response will help prevent loss, detect suspicious activity, and support overall security operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where vigilance and communication are key to success. Responsibilities Continuously monitor CCTV systems, security cameras, and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to security alerts, dispatching appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed. Maintain clear and accurate internal communication through radio, phone, and written reports to coordinate security efforts effectively. Document incidents thoroughly through detailed report writing, including descriptions of events, actions taken, and follow-up steps. Operate security systems with technical proficiency, ensuring all equipment functions correctly and troubleshooting issues when necessary. Conduct surveillance checks across designated areas, including casino floors or other high-value zones, to prevent theft or misconduct. Engage in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations calmly and professionally while maintaining safety protocols. Collaborate with law enforcement or internal teams during investigations or incident responses to support loss prevention initiatives. Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, security operations, or surveillance monitoring is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in CCTV system operation (AV), security system monitoring, and technical troubleshooting. Experience with dispatching emergency responses or coordinating communication in high-pressure environments such as call centers or security operations centers. Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and conflict management techniques. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for effective reporting and internal coordination. Familiarity with basic math for report calculations and data analysis is advantageous. Previous customer service experience can enhance your ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
