This role works closely with field management, leadership, and external agencies to investigate incidents, maintain security systems, and develop proactive safety and loss prevention strategies that support our mission and operations. Monitor incident reporting and exception-based reporting systems to ensure proper administration. Provide loss prevention and safety support to field management and store teams. Investigate security and loss-related incidents and prepare detailed, timely reports. Review loss prevention KPIs daily and weekly using Solink, reporting findings to leadership. Assist leadership in developing strategies to improve loss and safety performance across retail operations. Partner with federal, state, and local law enforcement or other external agencies as needed. Develop and deliver loss prevention and safety training programs for associates. Ensure management teams comply with all loss prevention and safety policies and procedures. Network with law enforcement and emergency services to address potential risks. Collaborate with regional, district, and store management to maintain awareness of loss and safety activities. Review and ensure accurate documentation of reported incidents and follow up to completion. Support the overall mission of Goodwill by completing related assignments as needed. What You'll Need High school diploma/GED required; 2-5 years of experience in loss prevention, security, or safety roles (retail experience preferred). Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and training skills. Demonstrated ability in employee theft investigation, interviewing, and auditing. Investigative and surveillance experience required; ability to perform duties during various hours. Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable by carrier. Experience working with law enforcement and fire departments. Familiarity with burglar and fire alarm systems, sprinkler operations, and surveillance monitoring. Understanding of retail and warehouse operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
