Job Summary Immediate Opening for a Fulltime Loss Prevention Officer in Mason City, IAWe are looking for a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to join our team on a full‑time basis (40 hours per week) in Mason City, IA.Job OverviewIdentify shoplifters through floor patrol and use of Closed Circuit Television.
Write incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Cooperate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
Provide courtroom testimony when required.
Compensation and Benefits
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
Reliable transportation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in writing clear, accurate, and legible reports.
Assertive yet controlled in confronting challenging situations.
Trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision.
Previous loss prevention experience is a plus but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).Studies in Criminal Justice or related fields are a plus.
