Job Summary Loss Prevention Officer Work with the best! Per Mar Security, an industry leader in providing integrated security solutions, is seeking hardworking, motivated people. Established in 1953, Per Mar Security Services is the largest, family-owned, full-service security company in the Midwest with more than 2,600 team members, operating in 25 branch locations. The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses, including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks. Job Skills / Requirements Immediate Opening for a Full-Time Loss Prevention Officer
  • Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras
  • Report Writing
  • Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed
  • Provide Courtroom Testimony as required
Job Requirement:
  • Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
  • Must be able to obtain state required PERC prior to employment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
  • Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
  • Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
  • Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
  • Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
  • Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
