About the role A well-established client of Roessel Joy is hiring a Video Analyst for their Boston office. This role sits at the intersection of loss prevention, data analysis and business intelligence: you will review video and transaction data to identify discrepancies, surface patterns, and turn what you find into recommendations clients can act on. It is a strong fit for someone with an investigative mindset who likes digging into detail and figuring out what the data is actually telling them. What you'll do Monitor, review and analyze video feed (CCTV) and point-of-sale (POS) transaction data for discrepancies, internal theft and fraud Analyze business trends through video review to identify opportunities to improve sales, customer counts, shrink, profit and the customer experience Review locations via video feed to confirm quality standards and compliance are being met Deliver findings and reporting to deadline while maintaining high quality standards What you'll need Bachelor's degree in business, communications, criminal justice, finance, mathematics or a related field, required Experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, human resources, customer service, legal services or consulting preferred; hospitality or retail background encouraged Proficiency with Microsoft Office Proven discretion with sensitive and confidential material Strong attention to detail with an investigative mindset, someone who enjoys identifying issues, uncovering patterns and delivering actionable insight Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication #RJADM45
