2996436999-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Join Giant Eagle as a Multi-Store Detective in our Retail Security & Law Enforcement team. In this field-based role, you'll investigate theft, fraud, and policy violations across multiple locations, using surveillance, exception reporting, and on-floor presence to reduce shrink. You will conduct interviews, document cases, collaborate with law enforcement, and train store teams on loss prevention practices. Working in a collaborative, customer-first culture, you'll help protect company assets and foster a safe, trustworthy shopping environment while regularly traveling between stores. Responsibilities Conduct investigations into theft, fraud, and policy violations across multiple Giant Eagle locations Utilize CCTV, floor surveillance, and exception reporting to identify and resolve loss incidents Partner with Store and Security leadership to execute shrink-reduction strategies Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate case documentation Detain and process suspects in accordance with company policy and local law Train store teams on loss prevention best practices and safety procedures Collaborate with law enforcement and testify in court when required Analyze shrink and incident trends to recommend preventive measures Travel regularly between assigned stores with flexible scheduling requirements Support a customer-first culture while maintaining a strong security presence Required Skills Retail loss prevention CCTV and video surveillance Investigative interviewing Report writing and documentation Evidence collection and preservation Case management Data analysis for shrink trends Knowledge of retail fraud schemes Collaboration with law enforcement Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
