Job Description

Join our team as an Asset Protection Associate , where you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and secure distribution center environment while supporting operational excellence and associate well-being. What You'll Do As an Asset Protection Associate, you will help support facility security, safety compliance, environmental programs, and operational processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Support facility security operations and maintain access control systems. Conduct safety, compliance, and food safety audits and inspections. Assist with accident prevention, emergency response, and OSHA compliance initiatives. Investigate incidents, participate in root cause analysis, and support corrective actions. Serve as a resource for workers' compensation and associate safety concerns. Analyze and report data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Support training initiatives and communicate safety procedures to associates and contractors. Promote environmental compliance and sustainability efforts. Partner with facility leadership and business partners to support continuous improvement projects. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will demonstrate: A strong commitment to safety, security, and compliance. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and recommend solutions. Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools preferred. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of Walmart experience or 1 year of work experience or coursework in Asset Protection, Safety, Compliance, Security, Criminal Justice, Military, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of relevant experience or coursework in Asset Protection, Safety, Compliance, Security, Criminal Justice, Military, or a related field. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Work Environment This role requires working in a distribution center environment and may involve: Walking, standing, and performing inspections for extended periods. Working varying shifts, including nights and weekends. Exposure to changing temperatures, elevated work areas, and high-noise environments. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
