Job Summary OverviewAs a Loss Prevention Officer, you will patrol the property, respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, deliver excellent customer service, monitor cameras, create incident reports, and perform other duties to contribute to safety and guest satisfaction.

ResponsibilitiesLoss Prevention Officer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Patrol assigned areas of the resort premises on foot, monitoring activity related to the safety and security of people and propertyRespond to alarm and emergency calls; investigate disturbances Decides what actions to take based on the situation, facts known and position limitationsReport safety and/or security issues to management and/or the authorities, based on severityMonitor entrance and departure of employees, guests, or other visitors on property to guard against theft and maintain security of the propertyChecks doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are tightly closed and locked; notes in written log any unlocked doors/windows; submits information to supervisorEnforce resort policies that relate to safety & security in a guest friendly mannerAssist guests needing directions or property informationProvide excellent customer service to guests and team membersComplete incident/accident reports according to policy and submit them to their supervisorOther duties as assignedQualificationsWhat are we looking for?

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidaysKnowledge of basic security and emergency procedures preferredMilitary, security, or law enforcement experience preferredMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for long periods of timeAbility to maintain a calm demeanor and professionalism in stressful situationsMust possess solid decision-making skillsPassion for providing exceptional service to guests and team membersProven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detailTeamwork and collaborationMust be able to communicate clearly (both written and verbally) and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisorsWhat can you look forward to?
