Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Legal Assistant to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong drafting abilities, and a proactive approach to administrative tasks. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about law and eager to develop their legal administrative experience while contributing to impactful legal work across various practice areas. Responsibilities Conduct thorough document review, proofreading, transcription, and drafting of legal correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents. Provide comprehensive executive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments. Manage legal case files through document management systems, ensuring accurate filing, data entry, and retrieval of case documents. Support litigation processes by organizing case materials, preparing discovery documents, and assisting with trial preparation. Maintain client records and facilitate communication with clients through professional phone etiquette and timely updates. Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, document review for accuracy and completeness, and maintaining organized digital and physical files. Effective communication skills coupled with exceptional phone etiquette; ability to interact professionally with clients and team members alike.
