About Trajan Estate Trajan® Estate Law Firm is a leading estate planning law firm dedicated to helping individuals and families secure their legacies and protect their loved ones' futures. We work closely in office with our sister companies, Trajan® Wealth and Trajan® Tax, under a Family Office model, providing a solution where our clients can address all their legal, financial, and tax planning needs under one roof. Role Overview We are seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal to draft trusts, wills, POA's, deeds, LLC's, and other estate and business planning documents, primarily for new clients. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent typing, writing, editing & phone skills, and work well under pressure. Client interaction skills are a must. We are looking for candidates with a strong commitment to providing an exceptional legal product and client experience, and excited to be part of a rapidly growing, evolving, and innovative law firm. Duties and responsibilities Draft trusts, wills, POA's, deeds, LLC's, and other estate and business planning documents Meet directly with clients to complete documents Work in-office as a member of a team of paralegals servicing both in-state and out-of-state clients Handle law office administrative responsibilities such as answering the phone, checking voice mail, scheduling appointments, handling mail, collecting payments, and other general administrative responsibilities. Qualifications 3+ years estate paralegal experience 4-year college degree or a paralegal / legal assistant certificate preferred. CLDP's also welcome to apply Outstanding written and verbal communication capability Strong research and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment with an ability to multi-task Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint A positive attitude, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with a high tolerance for change. Experience working with WealthCounsel preferred Working conditions This is an in-office (not remote) position. Requires sitting, typing and working on a computer for long periods of time in an open office environment (cubicle).
