Job Description

Platinum Law, APC is a boutique personal injury firm based in Beverly Hills, CA, and we are looking for a highly organized, driven, and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting paralegals and case managers at the firm. They will do so while delivering exceptional client service throughout the process. Applicants should have comprehensive experience in the legal sector and be comfortable performing client outreach, intake, providing case status updates, scheduling medical treatment, sending out demands, working on lien negotiations and providing attentive, high-quality client care at every stage.
Responsibilities:
Assist and managing personal injury cases from intake to settlement. Facilitate timely medical treatment and scheduling. Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case. Requesting, reviewing and organizing medical records, police reports, and other documents related to each case. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation. Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their cases. Assist attorneys with case preparation for litigation, if necessary. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of cases.
Qualifications:
Understanding of personal injury law and legal procedures in California. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in case management software (FileVine) and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Open to learning new skills Prior personal injury firm experience strongly preferred, but not required. Candidate must speak Spanish at fluency level.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
