No What We Do/Project This Paralegal contractor will provide critical operational and administrative support for a global intellectual property enforcement team, managing case intake, workflow coordination, legal documentation, and matter tracking across multiple systems. The role involves supporting trademark, copyright, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement activities, coordinating agreements and legal document processing, tracking global enforcement data, and serving as a key liaison with external counsel, investigators, and internal stakeholders worldwide. Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
  • Monitoring and actioning group emails
  • Opening files and issuing file/IPD numbers to counsel and investigators
  • Managing all active matters and filing correspondence across multiple systems
  • Managing the groups workflow on CounselLink
  • Providing key enforcement documentation (e.g., trademark and copyright certificates, style guides) for criminal, civil, and customs matters
  • Coordinating execution and processing of agreements
  • Supporting global takedown activity on Amazon and eBay
  • Notarizing and coordinating legalization/apostille of documents
  • Tracking seized goods and enforcement data globally
  • Distributing training materials to external counsel and investigators globally
  • General coordination support for my team Must Have Skills / Requirements 1) Database and spreadsheet experience a.
1+ years; Experience with Excel. Experience working within databases in previous roles. 2) Ability to draft emails to outside Counsel members a. 1+ years; Will be communicating new cases to eternal Counsel Members in a concise detailed manner with all required information included. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. 3) IP, IP Enforcement, or Trademarks experience a. 1+ years Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements 1) Paralegal certification is preferred. 2) Licensed Notary is highly preferred.
Soft Skills:
1) Passion for film and television. 2) Ability to work with complexity, nuance, and discretion. 3) Ability to handle sensitive materials and projects. 4) Detail oriented.
Technology Requirements:
1) Experience with Microsoft 365: a. Word b. Excel c. PowerPoint 2) Web TMS (Trademark IP Database) 3) CounselLink (billing system) 4) iManage or digital filing system experience 5) FileMaker Pro or similar database experience.
Education / Certifications
