We are looking for someone who can immediately assist with overseeing a large caseload, handle filing and medical work up for our injured clients. A individual who worked in a busy applicant Law firm and capable of handling workers compensation cases from A-Z. Please

unless you have a Workers Compensation Law Office handling applicant cases experience. No lien negotiator or lien settlements. Qualified Applicant MUST be fluent in Spanish. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must. Qualified applicant should have experience in the following categories: Be familiar with preparing, reviewing and filing Workers' Compensation documents Must be familiar with EAMS Experience in workers' compensation law 5 years minimum Comfortable attending hearings and negotiating settlements Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment and multi-task Strong organization and detail-oriented Ability to handle heavy phone volume Teamwork-oriented and also works well independently Strong communication skills Bilingual (Spanish & English ) Familiar with Merus case management paperless solutions and computer office software
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in managing workers' compensation cases from inception through settlement If you're ready to embark on a fulfilling career path and make a positive impact within the legal field Attend hearings (MSCs, status conferences, priority conferences, expedited hearings, etc) Settlements (You will receive a bonus off of each case you settle) Prepare necessary legal documents and maintain case files including claims, motions, and pleadings Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date Communicate with clients to gather information, answer inquiries, and provide case updates
Pay:
$24.00 - $32.00 per hour
