Legal Assistant - Estate Planning /
Probate Location:
Coronado, CA Schedule:
30-40 hours per week A small, established law firm in Coronado is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. The position involves both legal document preparation and general office support, along with regular client interaction. Responsibilities Manage the office's day-to-day operations, including client intake and scheduling, client relations and case progress Maintain electronic client files and assist with document organization Manage attorney calendars and important deadlines Provide general office support, including answering phones, scanning, and processing mail. Assist attorneys with preparation of estate planning documents (Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives) Qualifications Four-year college degree Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom/virtual office systems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy Preferred (but not required) Experience with estate planning, probate, or trust administration Accounting experience or familiarity with financial accountings California Notary Public commission
