We are a premier, fast-growing law firm located in beautiful Del Mar , California , seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal/ Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting legal professionals and want to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role by providing top-tier administrative support, managing court calendars, and maintaining seamless client communication.
Key Responsibilities Case Management:
Maintain, organize, and categorize physical and digital case files to ensure absolute accessibility.
Docketing & Calendaring:
Manage litigation calendars, track pleading deadlines, and schedule client meetings or court appearances.
Document Preparation:
Prepare, proofread, and format initial drafts of legal shells, pleadings, and correspondence.
Court E-Filing:
Handle electronic filings (e-filings) in California state and federal courts using systems like OneLegal or Nationwide.
Client Communication:
Serve as a professional first point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Administrative Support:
Assist with legal billing entry, processing vendor invoices, and sorting daily mail.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a Paralegal, legal assistant or secretary within a law firm.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), legal billing software, and docketing tools (e.g., Law Toolbox).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
Organization:
Superior attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.

Strict commitment to upholding client confidentiality and data security protocols at all times.
