Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to support our legal team. The successful candidate will assist with legal research, document preparation, and case management, ensuring smooth and efficient legal operations. Fluency in Mandarin is required to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on legal experience within a professional environment. Duties Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation. Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. Assist attorneys with case management tasks such as filing, scheduling, and maintaining case files. Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, witnesses, or partners to gather information and provide updates. Prepare summaries of legal documents and assist in the development of case strategies. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Support administrative tasks related to litigation or transactional work as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role preferred. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication within the role. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with legal software and document management systems is advantageous. A degree or certification in Paralegal Studies or related field is preferred but not mandatory. This position is paid and suitable for candidates eager to develop their legal career while leveraging their language skills in Mandarin to serve a diverse client base.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 33.0 per week
