Job Summary A respected legal team in Novato, CA is seeking a Bilingual Paralegal for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting personal injury and wrongful death cases. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who is fluent in English and Spanish and enjoys managing cases from intake through trial preparation and resolution. The Bilingual Paralegal will work closely with attorneys, partners, managers, supervisors, and support staff in a collaborative, team-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Manage an assigned caseload of personal injury and wrongful death matters from intake through trial preparation and case resolution. Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, conduct phone interviews, explain case flow procedures, and prepare clear written notes. Track internal, court, and Code of Civil Procedure deadlines to ensure timely case progression and trial readiness. Order, subpoena, review, and organize records, including medical records, billing records, employment records, economic loss records, pathology materials, and films. Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, case management statements, DOE amendments, 998 offers, witness disclosures, exhibit lists, and trial materials. Perform e-service, e-filing, case management system updates, file reviews, deposition coordination support, OSC reviews, and follow-up on attorney or supervisor directives.
