Company Description Crist, Biorn, Shepherd & Roskoph, the oldest law firm in Palo Alto, and a boutique estate, tax, business planning, estate administration, and trust and estate litigation firm, is hiring. Headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, the firm serves a diverse client base, primarily individuals and families. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant, located in Palo Alto, CA. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for working for 2 partners and managing legal documentation, maintaining organized case files, scheduling and coordinating appointments, preparing legal correspondence, and liaising between attorneys and clients. Additional responsibilities include managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, maintaining confidentiality, and general administrative support and clerical tasks for attorneys and paralegals. Qualifications Strong organization, scheduling, and time management skills Familiarity with legal documents, legal terminology, and case file management Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation and correspondence Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting is preferred Associate's degree or equivalent certification in legal studies or a related field is highly desirable
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
