About the Role The Law Office of Taylor B. Warner, APLC is seeking a versatile Family Law Paralegal/Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys with both substantive legal work and day-to-day office operations. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety — splitting time between case support (drafting, filing, client communication) and front-office duties (scheduling, phones, billing support). Prior family law experience is a plus, and this hybrid role offers flexibility with a mix of in-office and remote days. Responsibilities — Paralegal Duties Draft and file legal documents (petitions, motions, financial affidavits, settlement agreements) Prepare discovery requests/responses and organize case files Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Track deadlines and court dates using case management software Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediations, and trials Responsibilities — Administrative Duties Answer and route phone calls; greet clients Calendar court dates, filing deadlines, and client appointments Manage attorney calendars and schedule appointments/consultations Handle incoming/outgoing mail, scanning, and document management Assist with client intake and new file setup Support billing/invoicing processes (e.g., timekeeping entry, invoice prep) Order office supplies and help maintain office systems General correspondence and email management Qualifications Paralegal certificate or relevant experience (family law experience preferred but not required) Strong administrative/office experience, ideally in a legal setting Comfortable working independently Proficient in Microsoft Office, case management software (Clio, Outlook, etc.), and general office tech Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Discretion with sensitive/confidential information Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage shifting priorities between legal and admin tasks
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
