In this role, you will provide essential support across various litigation matters, ensuring smooth case management, thorough legal research, and efficient document handling. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help drive successful outcomes in complex civil and commercial litigation cases. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence. Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case strategies. Manage and organize case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate and accessible. Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and evidence for relevance and accuracy. Coordinate depositions, court filings, client meetings, and other litigation-related activities with attention to detail. Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion while maintaining compliance with procedural law requirements. Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court schedules, and case milestones to ensure timely progression of cases. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and internal teams to facilitate smooth case workflows. Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting civil litigation or general & commercial litigation cases. Strong knowledge of procedural law, document review processes, and legal research techniques. Familiarity with law office software including Westlaw, LexisNexis, iManage, PCLaw, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and document management systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence with clarity and professionalism. Effective interviewing skills for client communication and witness interviews. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high standards of accuracy in data entry and filing tasks.
