Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a respected plaintiffs' litigation firm in San Francisco, California. This permanent position supports complex matters involving securities and antitrust disputes and is well suited for someone who is detail oriented and confident navigating demanding litigation timelines. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, exceptional organization, and the ability to keep multiple case activities moving efficiently from early discovery through final filings and hearing preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including document review, discovery coordination, motion preparation, and hearing or trial support.
• Organize and manage sophisticated court filings by reviewing procedural requirements, tracking deadlines, coordinating input from internal and external counsel, and ensuring timely submission and service.
• Prepare, review, and maintain case materials using modern e-discovery and case management platforms to keep records accurate and accessible.
• Handle federal and state electronic filing processes with close attention to court-specific rules and formatting standards.
• Perform cite-checking, fact verification, and document proofreading to help maintain high-quality written work product.
• Assist with trial and arbitration readiness by assembling exhibits, coordinating logistics, and supporting attorneys during critical case events when needed.
• Monitor case progress, raise issues proactively, and provide timely status updates to supervising attorneys.
• Manage competing priorities independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative legal team in a deadline-driven environment. Requirements
• 3 to 6 years of paralegal experience in litigation, with direct exposure to civil litigation matters required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; paralegal certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of discovery processes and familiarity with current e-discovery database tools.
• Demonstrated experience with federal and state court e-filing procedures and related filing protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong legal research, writing, and citation skills; familiarity with Bluebook standards and the California Style Manual is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary and remain effective under pressure in a fast-paced complex litigation setting.
