We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support an in-house litigation team. Company is based in South San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of litigation experience and strong case management experience.

Responsibilities:

Oversee litigation files from initial complaint through resolution, helping maintain progress at each stage of the case. Coordinate calendars, monitor court deadlines, and ensure key dates, hearings, and filing requirements are tracked accurately. Prepare, review, and electronically submit pleadings and other legal documents to the appropriate courts. Draft case management conference statements and assist with related court-mandated submissions. Support discovery efforts by preparing written discovery, organizing responses, and following up on required documentation. Communicate with clients to gather information and records needed for discovery responses and ongoing case development. Assist with motion-related filings and help organize supporting responses and related documentation. Compile, format, and finalize court documents and filing materials in advance of hearings and trial preparation. Prior experience supporting litigation matters in a paralegal or litigation assistant/litigation legal secretary capacity. Working knowledge of case management practices, including file organization and deadline tracking. Experience with electronic filing procedures and court document submission requirements. Ability to manage calendaring responsibilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with personal injury, subrogation, or bond-related matters is helpful. Strong written communication skills for preparing legal documents, discovery materials, and case-related correspondence. Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
