THE GIST
Our client, an established real estate development firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join their Legal team and provide hands-on support across complex real estate transactions, legal operations, and day-to-day administrative needs. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented paralegal who understands real estate documents, deadlines, and closing processes and enjoys being a true partner to a collaborative legal team. THE NITTY GRITTY
Coordinate key aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, loan documentation, and property closings Review title reports and related documentation; prepare title memos, objection letters, and assist with resolving title issues Manage critical dates, timelines, and deadlines associated with acquisitions, financing, and closings Prepare and maintain due diligence checklists, closing packages, and post-closing files Coordinate regularly with attorneys, lenders, title companies, and other transaction partners Support the preparation, review, and revision of transactional documents, correspondence, and legal memoranda Maintain corporate and entity records, including formation documents, resolutions, certificates, and annual filings Manage legal files and develop organized, efficient filing systems Own calendaring and scheduling for members of the Legal team Maintain and improve the Legal team's SharePoint site and other document-management systems Utilize legal technology and matter-management platforms to track matters, deadlines, and invoices Help identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, and increase efficiency across the Legal Department Apply project management skills to track multiple workstreams and keep projects moving, particularly during high-volume periods Assist with Gantt charts, project tracking, and other organizational tools as needed Communicate regularly with senior legal and business leaders and ensure priorities, deadlines, and next steps are clearly understood Take on additional projects and responsibilities as the role grows
THE ESSENTIALS
2+ years of experience as a Paralegal, ideally supporting real estate transactions, acquisitions, financing, or closings Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate required Strong understanding of real estate documentation, transaction timelines, and closing processes Experience with title review and property closings strongly preferred Previous experience within a homebuilding or real estate development environment is a major plus Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable managing multiple priorities and moving quickly without sacrificing accuracy A proactive problem-solver who knows when to ask questions and how to work through issues independently Tech-savvy and interested in using technology to improve workflows, reporting, and organization Experience with Legal Tracker (formerly Serengeti) or a similar legal matter-management platform is a plus Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook; experience with SharePoint preferred Comfortable working with project-management tools, including Gantt charts Someone who brings a positive, collaborative attitude and is willing to roll up their sleeves and get the work done A clear, direct communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and doesn't let things fall through the cracks

COMPENSATION
