Job Description
Litigation Legal Assistant This role provides administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. The position requires a highly organized, proactive professional who can manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced legal environment. Key Responsibilities Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, and deadlines. Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries. Organize and schedule meetings, hearings, mediations, and trials. Prepare, format, transcribe, and edit legal documents. Assist with pleadings, discovery, settlement agreements, contracts, and other litigation-related documents. E-file legal documents with courts. Enter attorney time and support billing processes. Work with accounting on invoices, expense reimbursements, and client billing. Top Requirements Minimum 4 years of litigation legal assistant experience. Strong experience with e-filing and managing litigation calendars, including hearings, mediations, trials, and court deadlines. Advanced Microsoft Office skills and typing speed of approximately 60 WPM . Practice Area Real Estate / Unlawful Detainer (Eviction) Litigation Ideal Candidate A detail-oriented legal assistant with strong litigation support experience, excellent organizational and time-management skills, proficiency in legal document preparation and court filing procedures, and the ability to support multiple attorneys simultaneously.
