Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Notary Public to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as an official witness to the signing of important documents, ensuring their authenticity and compliance with legal standards. Providing exceptional service to clients, organizational skills, and customer service abilities in a dynamic environment committed to integrity and accuracy. UPS Store day to day operations Responsibilities Authenticate signatures on legal documents such as affidavits, deeds, powers of attorney, and loan documents by verifying identities and administering oaths. Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to legal requirements before notarization. Maintain detailed records of all notarizations performed, including logs of signers' identification details and document types. Provide clear explanations of notarization procedures to clients, ensuring they understand the process and requirements. Manage appointment scheduling for document signings, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely service. Stay updated on state laws and regulations governing notarial acts to ensure compliance at all times. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing notarized documents, organizing records, and supporting legal administrative functions as needed. Skills Strong analysis skills to assess document validity and identify potential issues or discrepancies. Proficiency in legal research to stay informed about evolving notarization laws and best practices. Excellent writing skills for accurately documenting notarizations and preparing related reports. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple appointments, maintain records, and ensure compliance. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
