What they do
A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Manage document collection, review, and production
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, PACER, and CM/ECF
- Prepare deposition summaries, trial exhibits, witness files, and trial binders
- Assist with trial preparation, jury selection, and courtroom support
- Maintain complex litigation calendars and deadlines
- Coordinate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and internal teams
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience
- BA/BS degree and/or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and legal research platforms
