Job Description

Join a small firm doing sophisticated, globally focused work. We are a women-owned and women-led business immigration practice based in beautiful Sausalito, just 10 minutes across the Golden Gate Bridge. We represent clients from around the world, with a particular focus on the technology and finance sectors. Our team is collaborative and genuinely enjoys working together and we are looking for an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal who brings excellent judgment, exceptional writing skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a sense of humor. The Role In this full-time role, you will manage a varied caseload of employment-based immigration matters from intake through filing and follow-up. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, beneficiaries, and company contacts to prepare accurate, persuasive, and well-organized filings. The right candidate is proactive, polished, comfortable managing competing deadlines, and committed to producing consistently excellent work. What You'll Do
  • Prepare and file a broad range of business immigration matters, including H-1B petitions, L-1 and Blanket L applications, other visa applications and greencard applications as well as PERM labor certification cases.
  • Draft clear, persuasive support letters, case summaries, job descriptions, questionnaires, and client communications.
  • Review and edit filings with exceptional accuracy, consistency, and attention to both substance and presentation.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze supporting documentation; identify missing information and follow up proactively.
  • Manage case calendars, filing deadlines, expiration dates, recruitment timelines, and other critical milestones.
  • Communicate professionally and responsively with corporate clients, foreign nationals, government agencies, and internal team members.
  • Conduct case-specific research and assist attorneys with responses to requests for evidence and other complex matters.
  • Maintain complete and orderly electronic case files and accurate case-management records.
  • Help improve templates, checklists, and workflows as laws, procedures, and client needs evolve. What You Bring
  • At least three years of hands-on business immigration experience (no exceptions).
  • Demonstrated experience preparing H-1B, L-1/Blanket L and PERM labor certification matters.
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce concise, polished, and persuasive work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organization, time-management, and deadline-management skills.
  • Sound judgment, initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team.
  • Professional and thoughtful client-service skills, including comfort working with people across cultures and time zones.
  • Facility with case-management systems, document-management tools, and Microsoft Office.

Workplace and Schedule This is a full-time position based in our Sausalito office, with an expectation of working in the office at least four days per week. Our office offers on-site parking and is located approximately 10 minutes across the Golden Gate Bridge.
