This role combines front-desk responsibilities with legal assistant duties, supporting a family law practice. You'll be the face and voice of our Temecula team with duties including welcoming clients, coordinating schedules, managing legal documents, and assisting attorneys with day-to-day casework. We're looking for someone who is client-focused, organized, tech-savvy, and ready to grow with a highly professional legal team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reception & Administrative Duties Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors Answer, screen, and route phone calls professionally Manage mail, deliveries, and legal service logs Maintain common areas and breakroom supplies Assist with client onboarding and intake in firm software Coordinate office calendar, track support logs, and submit facility requests Legal Assistant Duties Communicate with clients and opposing counsel Maintain electronic case files and track court deadlines Draft, proofread, and format pleadings and discovery documents Coordinate filing, service, and tracking of legal documents and orders Prepare hearing binders and organize trial exhibits Scan, save, and organize case-related documents Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong time management, organization, and multitasking abilities Tech-proficient and quick to learn legal software Professional demeanor with confidentiality and discretion Ability to identify and resolve issues using sound judgment Why Join the AM Fam?
