Torts Litigation Paralegal - Walnut Creek

Walnut Creek, CA Temporary $65000.00 - $115000.00 Hybrid Job Description Join a respected law firm seeking an experienced Temp-hire Civil Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, with a strong emphasis on trial preparation and trial support. Top Critical Qualifications Bachelor's Degree & Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved program)

Trial preparation and trial support experience

Experience drafting legal documents, managing discovery, preparing medical chronologies, and summarizing deposition transcripts Key Responsibilities Assist attorneys with the preparation and management of civil cases for trial

Handle discovery, records management, and document organization

Summarize medical and employment records and prepare detailed medical chronologies

Summarize discovery responses and deposition transcripts

Draft meet and confer correspondence and litigation-related documents

Support motion practice, including discovery motions and motions to continue trial

Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare case materials Qualifications 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm

Civil litigation experience required

Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program required

Experience with legal research platforms and paperless file systems

iManage experience is a plus

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines
