We are currently looking to hire a litigation paralegal for our Westlake Village location. Qualified applicants must have a positive attitude and have a strong work ethic as well as excellent writing skills. Must have a minimum of two to three years PI paralegal litigation experience. Knowledge of California Rules of Procedure and e-filing system. Fluent in Spanish is also a requirement.
Responsibilities will include:
Prepare documents for filing with court Assist in gathering documents and evidence from clients throughout the discovery phase and course of litigation Review, organize, and summarize documents produced by other parties and medical healthcare providers Draft and edit correspondence, discovery, and pleadings. Communicate and coordinate with medical and legal experts throughout litigation Assist in trial preparation including preparing trial documents, binders, and exhibits Manage attorney's calendar
Skills:
Minimum of 3-5 years litigation PI paralegal experience Self-directed and willing to take initiative Attention to detail, able to multi-task and to prioritize work Strong verbal and written communication skills Build empathetic relationships with clients
