Criminal Law ParalegalA well-established boutique law firm in Boulder is seeking an experienced Criminal Law and Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys working closely with attorneys and taking ownership of complex criminal matters from intake through resolution.
ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys throughout all phases of criminal cases, including pretrial, trial preparation, and post-trial mattersManage case files, calendars, deadlines, pleadings, discovery, and correspondenceAssist with preparation, organization, and review of discovery and evidenceConduct legal and factual research and assist with case developmentPrepare drafts of pleadings, motions, subpoenas, notices, and other legal documentsCoordinate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, witnesses, investigators, and other partiesAssist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibits, witness materials, and courtroom logisticsMaintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case filesTrack case deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings and other case-related tasksHandle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretionQualifications3+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in criminal defense or criminal lawStrong understanding of criminal litigation procedures and court processesExperience with discovery, legal research, case management, and trial preparationExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced boutique practiceComfortable working independently while collaborating closely with attorneysProficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management technologyCompetitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package and bonus potential.
