Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across a variety of practice areas, including civil litigation, probate law, and juvenile law, ensuring efficient case management and meticulous document handling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in legal services. Duties Assist attorneys with legal writing and drafting documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts. Manage and organize case files using document management systems like MyCase and Dropbox; ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date. Review and analyze legal documents, including discovery materials, contracts, and court filings, ensuring compliance with procedural law requirements. Support litigation processes through document review, data entry, filing, and maintaining organized case management systems. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders via phone or written correspondence; handle confidential information with discretion. Assist with project management tasks related to estate planning, environmental law cases, or other specialized practice areas as needed. Skills Proven experience as a paralegal or legal support professional with familiarity in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, civil litigation, Juvenile law, and/or real estate law. Strong knowledge of procedural law and experience with legal case management software including Westlaw, MyCase, Dropbox, and document review systems specifically Adobe Pro. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for drafting documents and managing correspondence. Effective communication skills for client interaction and collaboration within the legal team. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining high standards of confidentiality. Strong attention to detail in document review, legal drafting, data entry, filing procedures, and transcription tasks.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
