Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing and managing immigration cases, with a strong emphasis on client communication in both English and Spanish. This role requires fluency in Spanish to effectively support our Spanish speaking clients. Key Responsibilities- Assist attorneys in preparing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents (e.g. visas, green cards, asylum claims, naturalization, cancellation or removal, vawa, SIJ, u-visa, etc.)
- Interview clients, gather necessary documentation, and translate materials between English and Spanish as needed.
- Draft correspondence, affidavits, under attorney supervision.
- Manage case files, track deadlines and coordinate with government agencies such as USCIS, ICE and EOIR.
- Provide bilingual support during client consultations, court preparations, and administrative hearings.
- handle administrative tasks, including filing scheduling and maintaining client confidentiality in compliance with ethical standards. Qualifications and Requirements
- Associates degree, legal studies, or a relative field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in immigration law.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required; ability to interpret and translate legal documents accurately.
- Strong Knowledge of U.S. Immigration forms and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, legal software (clio, prima) and case management systems.
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment .
