Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

- Assist attorneys to draft wills, trusts and other estate planning documents
- Assist attorneys to draft probate documents and help clients administer estates after a death
- Monitor deadlines, keep client projects on track, manage tasks
- Type, proofread, and revise documents and correspondence
- Calendar deadlines and some client meetings
- Communicate effectively with clients on the telephone and in person while maintaining professionalism
- File, organize, and maintain client documents and case records
- Other administrative support tasks :
- Attention to detail on documents, emails, court filings, calendaring deadlines, proofreading, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and instinct for client service
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Word, Excel, Teams) and Adobe in a Windows environment
- Friendly and clear verbal and written communications
- Organizing and prioritizing time and tasks
- Completing assignments independently with minimal oversight
- Fast, accurate keyboarding skills :
- Reliable
- Regular work hours in our Longmont location
- Experience with law Tabs/Practice Master and Clio software a plus
