This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Greenwich, CT office (5 days per week ) and requires someone who is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The role includes direct client interaction and hands-on case management from pre-litigation through trial preparation. Responsibilities Manage personal injury files from pre-litigation through trial, keeping cases organized and moving forward. Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence. Coordinate discovery, including document collection, production, and deadline tracking. Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other key case documents. Prepare settlement packages, trial binders, exhibits, and hearing materials. Communicate directly with clients, medical providers, experts, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel. Manage court filings (CT, NY, federal), including e-filing and tracking deadlines. Assist attorneys with case organization, strategy, and trial preparation. Work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and support trial preparation (compensated in accordance with applicable law). Qualifications 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience in a law firm setting. Paralegal certificate, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a related field. Strong background in personal injury and/or wrongful death matters. Experience managing high-volume caseloads and multiple deadlines. Familiarity with medical records, billing, and damages documentation. Comfortable working directly with clients in sensitive matters. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently. Familiarity with Connecticut and New York court systems and e-filing procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
