We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our Connecticut real estate law practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of residential real estate experience , preferably with experience using Qualia closing software , and will be comfortable handling purchases, sales, and refinances from start to finish. This is a client-facing position, and communication is a major part of the role. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and is comfortable speaking with clients, attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties throughout the transaction. The successful candidate should be highly organized and comfortable managing approximately 40-50 active closing files at any given time while maintaining excellent communication, attention to detail, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities may include:

Managing residential purchase, sale, and refinance files from opening through closing Maintaining approximately 40-50 active closing files at a time Communicating regularly with clients regarding the status of their transactions Coordinating with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, title companies, municipalities, and other parties Preparing and reviewing closing-related documents Ordering and reviewing title-related documents, payoffs, municipal information, and other necessary items Monitoring deadlines and ensuring files continue moving efficiently toward closing Maintaining organized and accurate files within the firm's closing software Assisting attorneys throughout the closing process Providing clients with a professional, friendly, responsive, and high-quality experience

Qualifications:

3-5 years of residential real estate paralegal experience Experience handling residential purchases, sales, and refinances Qualia closing software experience preferred Ability to effectively manage 40-50 closing files simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Strong character, positive attitude, and willingness to take ownership of their work Comfortable speaking directly with clients and providing exceptional customer service Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who wants to be part of the client experience—not someone who simply works behind the scenes. Salary will be determined based on experience.
