Candidates must possess good judgment, be consistently accurate and detail-oriented, and communicate well with all levels of management and staff.
Location:
Westport, CT (onsite)
Salary Range:
$65,000 to $72,000, commensurate with experience Office hours : 8:30 am-5:00pm with one hour for lunch, or 9:00 - 5:00 with ½ hour for lunch Responsibilities include: Support several attorneys with administrative duties including typing/formatting documents, transcribing documents (dictation), maintaining client files. Schedule and coordinate conference calls. Arrange meetings and appointments. Enter attorney time into billing system Prepare new client set up which will include prepare conflict checks, new file set up, and establishing new client/matter information in computer system
Requirements:
3-5 years of law firm experience Corporate law experience preferred, transactional experience a plus Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and Adobe Experience with corporate documents preferred Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task Should be flexible, willing to take on all tasks big and small Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality IND2
