Overview We are seeking a full-time, highly organized and detail-oriented Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting estate planning and probate matters, ensuring smooth case management, and precise document preparation. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for legal processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to handling complex estate and probate cases. Responsibilities Assist with drafting client correspondence. and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives. Manage probate case files from initiation through completion, including filing petitions, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with courts and beneficiaries. Utilize document management systems for efficient case file organization and billing processes. Perform data entry, document review, proofreading, transcription, and drafting of legal correspondence and pleadings. Coordinate with clients for interviews, gather necessary information for estate planning or probate proceedings, and maintain excellent phone etiquette. Support administrative functions including filing, calendaring deadlines, managing client communications, and providing executive administrative support as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a paralegal in estate planning or probate law preferred; familiarity with related practice areas such as family law, real estate law a plus. Strong knowledge of estate planning concepts including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for interviewing clients and collaborating with attorneys and external parties. Strong proofreading, writing skills, and ability to review legal documents accurately. Administrative experience supporting law office operations including data entry, filing systems, document review, transcription tasks, and clerical responsibilities.
