Chico Connors & Weissman (ccw.legal) is looking a paralegal or a paralegal trainee for its law office in beautiful Celebration, FL. We seek intelligent people who may be doing something else and our interested in a change into the legal field; or already have legal training and looking to grow. Some basic characteristics we look for: Hard Worker Great interpersonal skills. Highly organized (if you have been accused of being a perfectionist or a little obsessive compulsive, we love that). Ability to write. Several of our paralegals moved on to work at government legal departments, major law firms and two of our former assistants have gone on to open their own legal services businesses. Two of our former paralegals are the judicial assistants for their respective judges. Finally, three of our paralegals have gone to law school (Georgetown Law school, Emory and UMASS). No paralegal school can match the training we provide. The work will primarily entail work in Family Law, however the candidate will be trained in other areas of law as well.
