In this role, you will provide essential administrative and legal support across a variety of practice areas, ensuring smooth case management and efficient workflow. Your proactive approach and strong research skills will contribute to delivering exceptional service to clients and supporting attorneys in complex legal matters. Duties Assist attorneys with case preparation, document drafting, and review, including legal writing and proofreading to ensure accuracy and clarity. Manage legal case files using document management systems such as iManage, ensuring confidentiality and organized storage of sensitive information. Conduct legal research utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case strategies across diverse practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, civil litigation, and more. Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling client meetings, and maintaining calendars for court filings and procedural timelines. Handle client communication professionally via phone and email, providing updates and gathering necessary information for case progress. Review documents for compliance with procedural law requirements and assist in filing court documents accurately within required timeframes. Perform data entry, document review, and general administrative tasks such as filing, proofreading, and managing correspondence to streamline office operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal with a strong background in legal support functions. Familiarity with multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, general & commercial litigation. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with PCLaw or similar case management software is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Knowledge of procedural law requirements for court filings and document review processes. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with familiarity with document management systems like iManage. Ability to perform legal research effectively and support litigation activities through detailed case management.
