Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the firm. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in legal research tools, and a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures. Responsibilities Provide executive administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence. Client intake calls. Assist with medical record requests. Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up to date and accessible. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist in the preparation of discovery materials and trial exhibits for personal injury law cases. Perform general administrative duties including filing, and data entry. Qualifications Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Must be fluent in English, including strong written communication (emails, documents) and verbal communication (phone/in-person). Must be able to pass a criminal, civil, and bankruptcy background check. Familiarity with personal injury law is preferred but not mandatory. Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team. Ability to work independently while also being an integral part of a team.
