Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate MUST have 5 years minimum experience in Real Estate working as a paralegal at a law firm with experience reviewing contracts, preparing timelines for closing, preparing seller documents, reviewing title commitments and lien searches, performing closings, affidavits, closing statements and closing real estate transactions. Candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, providing essential support in real estate closings, document review, and file support as follows:Responsibilities:
- Review initial contracts
- Order title
- Order lien searches
- review reports
- prepare title docs
- prepare closing statements
- speak to clients regarding transactions
- prepare checks
- prepare closing statement
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field preferred
- Proven experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
