Legal Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:

Communicate in a professional manner with potential and existing clients, including one-on-one client contact regarding all aspects of clients' cases Ability to take direction and work independently Perform various administrative and clerical tasks as required Ability to coordinate appointments, hearings, depositions, mediations, etc. with attorney calendar Telephone and written communications with existing clients Opening and scanning incoming mail AI Filing of legal pleadings/correspondence Collaborate on website/social media and other marketing efforts Help in carrying out marketing strategies Perform various administrative and clerical tasks as required

Legal Assistant Qualifications and Skills:

1-2 years prior office experience helpful. but not a must; Associates, Bachelor's degree, or on the job training preferred Must reside locally and prefer an in-office setting Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrates a strong interest in leveraging AI technology and is committed to mastering its use to improve efficiency, productivity, and client service Must be detail-oriented, practice good time management, and have a positive attitude Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Word, and Excel also preferred Ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Bilingual is a Plus (Proficient in English and Spanish) In many personal injury law firms this positions this role is referred to as an intake coordinator or case consultant.
